Booking Notice

    Ticket Release Time: 22:00

1. The Guangdong Museum implements a real-name, timed-entry booking system for all visitors, including children. Please book tickets through official channels.

2. Standard opening hours are Tuesday to Sunday, 9:00–17:00 (last entry at 16:00). Closed on Mondays except national holidays. Special cases will be announced separately.

3. Please confirm your reserved date and time slot. On the day of your visit, enter through the individual visitor access at West Gate during your reserved time. Present your ID for self-service verification, pass security screening, and enter in an orderly manner. Each booking is valid for one entry only.

4. Booking reminders:

(1) Accounts must undergo real-name verification; each account may add up to 10 frequent visitors within 90 days.

(2) Each account may make one booking within 14 days, with up to 5 people per order. Children aged 6 and under may not book independently.

 (3) Frequent cancellations, or no-shows for 2 consecutive days or 3 cumulative times, will activate access restrictions: the account will be unable to book tickets or events for 90 days. (A “no-show” means failing to visit without canceling in advance.)

5. The following visitors may register on site at the group-ticket counter with valid ID:

(1) Persons with disabilities, seniors aged 65 and above, and one accompanying caregiver;

(2) Active-duty military personnel and immediate family members (with proof of relationship), veterans, veterans with disabilities, families of martyrs, fallen soldiers, and deceased military personnel (“three families”), firefighting rescue personnel, holders of Guangzhou blood-donation benefit cards, and others eligible for preferential admission.

6. The parking lot opens at 8:50. Visitors arriving by car may enter through the East Gate parking entrance after showing their booking order. New-energy vehicles must park in the outdoor lot near the East Gate and may not enter the underground garage. After parking, please walk to the West Gate to enter the museum. We encourage green, low-carbon travel; public transit is recommended.

7. Entry reminders:

(1) Intoxicated persons, those dressed inappropriately, or individuals with limited/no capacity without guardians will be denied entry.

(2) All visitors must undergo security checks. Weapons (including key components), replicas, controlled tools, hazardous items, sports equipment, camping gear, and unauthorized professional photography equipment are strictly prohibited.

(3) Pets are not allowed (visually impaired visitors may contact staff in advance to bring guide dogs).

8. Rules for the visit:

     (1) Do not strike display cases, touch artifacts, climb barriers, lean on glass, or climb artificial structures.

     (2) Flash, fill-light, reflectors, tripods (including phone tripods), camera cranes, selfie sticks, and easels are not permitted without approval.

     (3) Smoking, begging, or distributing flyers is prohibited.

     (4) Chasing and rough play, loud talking, throwing objects from height, sitting or lying randomly, improperly occupying public facilities and space, tearing, carving, defacing the building/facilities and graffiting, eating outside designated catering areas, littering, spitting, and urinating in public are strictly prohibited inside the museum.

     (5) Follow safety rules for elevators and escalators; sitting, moving backward, running, or pushing wheelchairs/strollers on escalators is prohibited.

     (6) Unauthorized livestreaming, filming, lecturing, research activities, interviews, performances, or promotional events are not allowed.

     (7) Do not tamper with or misuse fire-safety or emergency equipment.

     (8) The museum reserves the right to stop or remove individuals whose behavior disrupts public order, endangers cultural relics, or threatens visitor safety. Damages will incur legal responsibility.

9. Temporary closures for major events or facility maintenance will be announced. Please check the official website for updates.
