Hustle and Bustle: The Age of Dinosaurs
Tyrannosaurs, plesiosaurs, and pterosaurs—these ancient reptiles dominated land, sea, and sky for millions of years. Their many unsolved mysteries continue to spark imagination and inquiry.
In the summer of 2019, the Guangdong Museum joins hands with the Zigong Dinosaur Museum to present a spectacular gathering of dinosaurs. In a specially designed cross-era showdown, who will prove to be true ruler of the land—the fierce Cretaceous Tyrannosaurus rex or the mighty Jurassic predator, the Yangchuanosaurus? Who will occupy the "C position" for combat power in your mind? Among the many plesiosaurs, pterosaurs, dinosaur skin fossils, footprints, and teeth, can you identify the "impostors" that don’t belong to the dinosaur world?
The age of dinosaurs is long gone—but did they truly vanish forever? Perhaps you will leave the exhibition with an unexpected answer.
Visitor Information
To ensure the safety of visitors and exhibits, this exhibition is implementing a time-slot reservation system for all visitors, limiting the number of daily visitors. To ensure your visiting needs, please make a reservation based on your actual situation.

2. Booking Rules:
(1) Daily bookings are limited to 3,000 people (including children);
Entry Times: Morning: 9:00–12:00; Afternoon: 12:00–16:00.
(2) Visitors must use their 2nd-Generation ID card for real-name booking. Children without an ID card should use the ID number from their hukou (household register) to book a ticket. Foreign guests and visitors from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan must book via GDM's authorized channel, Damai.cn.
(3) Each account is limited to 4 bookings. Each ID number is limited to 1 booking per day. Bookings can be made for 7 days (including the current day).
(4) Visitors who cannot arrive during their reserved slot, please cancel in advance. Accounts with 2 no-shows will be blocked from booking again during the exhibition.
(5) During the trial phase of reservation-based visits, rules may be adjusted. Please stay tuned for updates.

4. Entry Notice:
(1) Visitors who have booked this exhibition can show their booking order at the West Gate (ticket-holder access) for security to check, pass the security screening, and enter (no need to get a separate museum admission ticket).
(2) Please enter within your reserved time slot. Entry will be denied after the slot expires.
(3) Reserved visitors can scan their 2nd-Gen ID card at the exhibition entrance. In special cases (e.g., demagnetized ID), staff can manually verify the booking (QR) code and ID for entry.
(4) Each adult is limited to bringing 2 reserved children under 1.4m. Children without an ID card shall enter with their parent after staff verify their booking code.
(5) Foreign guests and visitors from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan must present their booking code and personal ID for staff verification.

(1) Do children need a reservation? Is there any requirement?
A: Yes, children also need a reservation. One adult can bring 2 reserved children under 1.4m.
(2) How to book for a child without an ID card?
A: Use the ID number from their Household Register. At entry, the parent shows the booking code for staff to verify, and the child enters with the parent.
(3) Do I need a general museum ticket if I booked the exhibition?
A: No. Show your booking order at the West Gate (ticket-holder access) for security to check and enter. Visitors who have successfully made an online reservation may proceed directly through the scanning turnstiles at the exhibition entrance by presenting their ID card; no ticket redemption is required.
(4) What are the booking channels?

(5) How many days in advance can I book?
A: Up to 7 days in advance from the current day. Please pay attention to your ticket availability to avoid missing your visit.
(6) I booked 9:00–12:00. Is that my entry time or visit time?
A: That is your entry time. You must enter before 12:00.
(7) What if the time slot I want is full?
A: The system has a cancellation function. You can check back for openings or change your date. The exhibition runs until October 13. Summer, weekends, and holidays are peak times. We recommend booking early and visiting during off-peak hours.
(8) How do foreign visitors book?
A: Foreign guests and visitors from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan can book on Damai.cn.
(9) Is there a guide service for this exhibition?
A: This exhibition offers free volunteer tours and paid smart audio guides.
The smart audio guide includes a children's version for this exhibition and the permanent exhibition tour. Rental fee is 20 RMB/device (WeChat, Alipay, cash). Rent with a 2nd-Gen ID or a 500 RMB deposit (refunded upon return).
